May and June is the best flowering period in the front garden

 

The front garden is sunny.
The ivy makes a good 
backdrop for the other plants
Bergenia Foxglove - peach coloured Miniature rose Boston Ivy - parthenocissus tricuspidata
Shrub type tree the name of which escapes me ATM! Rhododendron - dark red Miniature pansy (self seeds in the gravel) Pink Buddleia (cutting from Sionag)
Variagated holly red wallflower Pachysandra terminalis - excellent groundcover in dry shade Mahonia - smells wonderful!
Kerria japonica Variagated Weigela -florida Aureovariegata Orange wallflower Pachysandra terminalis variegata.
  Winter pansy Berberis - fresh lime green in spring and a wonderful shade of red in autumn
