She was always known to me (Janet) as 'Granny Walters'.

She is the most intriguing of all my ancestors because I know so little about her !

Her father was Edward O'Reilly (born 1854)
Her mother was Sarah Mobbs (born 15 December 1852)
They married on 21 October 1883 and a year later Mary Theresa was born.
At the time her father was living in as a gardener at 11 Carfax Square, Clapham, London, Surrey
Mary was born there.

In 1907 she was working as a domestic servant and had her first child (Edward) - no father listed

She seems to have married Harold Edward Walters at some time,
because my Mum, Vera Mary 1912 bears his name on her birth certificate.

However her next child, John Desmond Roy 1918, does not have a father on his !!!!
